Student supervision

If you would like me to supervise your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis, feel free to contact me. Please formulate a research question, with concrete research ideas. Is the plan to replicate the findings from some paper? Do you want to pursue your idea in a multiple country setting?

Please write down a maximum 1-page description of your proposed topic. You should clearly state the research question and, ideally, a reference to one published academic article. Please be as specific as possible, and don’t be afraid to be narrow. It’s always easier to broaden a topic later – are you more interested in formulating a model, or studying an empirical relationship? Then, provide a brief outline how you want to study the question, if you already have access to required data and highlight any problems that could arise along the way – the earlier we discuss potential problems, the easier the upcoming months will become.
